In Why I Built EpOpti, I shared the problem that's driven my work for nearly 20 years and the foundation we started with: a guide library for each agency, the Ask EpOpti assistant, built-in support and agency branding.

A library on its own doesn't change how people work. Guides need structure, standards need a home, and answers need to be where the work happens. That's what we built this month.

Training Hubs That Mirror How People Learn

We added training hubs to give the library structure.

Hubs also replaced the old category-based access, so there's now one clear way to control who sees what.

Activity Codes and the Resource Center

In Applied Epic, inconsistent activity codes cause problems that spread quietly: missed follow-ups, unclear ownership and unreliable reporting. We built a master Activity Codes library covering Applied Epic events and activities, with naming conventions, the default owner, when to close each one, and the follow-up process.

If everyone codes activities their own way, your reporting is fiction. A shared standard is the first step toward data you can trust.

Ask EpOpti Goes Wherever Your Staff Work

Staff shouldn't have to leave Applied Epic to find an answer. Ask EpOpti now reaches further.

Seeing How Guides Are Used

We also started measuring. EpOpti now tracks guide views and time spent on each page, with activity dashboards for each user and each agency. It's the first step toward knowing whether training is happening, not just whether it was assigned.

What Is Undocumented Knowledge Costing You?

Inconsistent processes cost time on every account, every day.

Run your own numbers. Our ROI calculator estimates what undocumented processes are costing your agency today, and what standardized workflows would give back.

Next Up

EpOpti now has structure, standards and a way to reach staff wherever they work. Next, we'll move from tracking who opened a guide to proving who learned it. Look for the next update on August 15.
